2017 is coming to an end – what an incredibly great year! Our wedding year – the year in which we were finally allowed to say YES to each other – forever. With this post I would like to give a review of the year 2017. Because it was not just the year of our wedding, but also the year of birth of Wedding by Madison and all those wonderful events and experiences that were associated with it!
So: have a cup of tea and look back on this amazing year! THANK YOU for reading this blog, giving me feedback and appreciating my work so much. It’s so beautiful that you exist!
On the 7th of January 2017 the time had come: Wedding by Madison went online and finally I had a platform where I could share everything about our wedding and the big day! It was so nice to turn an idea into reality.
I started by introducing ourselves to you and an important part of it was the story of our engagement in beautiful Brighton on the beach. In addition, we were in January at the wedding fair in Oldenburg and I started my series #wirheiraten, in which I regularly reported on our own wedding planning.
Our wedding planning became more and more concrete in the spring and we were able to tick off important things like rings, favors and our guestbook! In addition, during the first few months of the year, I worked a lot on the Wedding by Madison wedding planner, with which you can plan your dream wedding. Since the beginning of March 2017, this is officially available here in the shop! And I was able to complete another DIY in March: our welcome sign!
Just 2 weeks after the order, we were finally able to hold our finished rings in the end of March and the whole theme “we marry in June” really became more real and time was racing! In addition, we have booked our honeymoon final and also ordered various wedding prints, such as menu and exercise cards.
Another DIY, which I had planned for a long time and was finally completed in May: our guest book globe for wishes, small messages and drawings of our guests. He was definitely a highlight of our wedding and is now standing in the living room on our dresser, where we regularly watch the sweet news. In addition, I introduced you to another highlight of our wedding in May: the KRUU photo box! And I’ve posted two posts summarizing our plans shortly before our wedding
